This page is for listing different visualization to consider for Wikidocumentaries.
Collectionscope is an open source software engine for visualizing museum collections across time and space. Collectionscope collects, processes, and transforms collections metadata into digital information that can be visualized and explored on multiple platforms, including immersive 3D environments.
Plotting this data across time and space provides engaging access to entire collections and the objects within, as well as the opportunity to dive into rich and complex institutional histories.
Built with open source tools and libraries, the engine is freely available to other cultural institutions to visualize their own collections and develop experiences that suit their unique learning goals and audiences.
