Newspapers clippings

An automatic search to a newspaper archive based on the topic and additional properties. The users are asked to verify the good matches and create clippings, which will be displayed in Wikidocumentaries. Initial proof-of-concept will be made with the digi.kansalliskirjasto.fi service.

Process outline idea

• User navigates to digi.kansalliskirjasto.fi
• She browses matches that have been created automatically from the topic as keyword and other constraints defined by other properties
• She creates a clipping inside digi.kansalliskirjasto.fi
• The clipping is (automatically) tagged with the topic
• The clipping is (automatically) displayed in Wikidocumentaries
